Vettaikaran audio to be launch on September

The audio of the film which has music by Vijay Antony will be launched in a big way in the first week of September.

There are five songs in the album, and one bit title song. Last week Vijay and Anushka has completed a week long shoot in Pollachi. Later, they shot a song near Athirapilly waterfalls in Chalakudy, Kerala. Now they are completing some street scenes in and around Chennai.

By the end of the month Vijay and Anushka will be going abroad for a foreign song shoot. Vettaikaran, is confirmed as Vijay’s Diwali release on October 17.

Muthirai Gets ‘A’ Certificate

Muthirai, by Vikram Bhatt’s ASA Production & Enterprises, has been passed by the regional censors with an ‘A’ certificate and six cuts have been requested. The film is releasing on June 19 in nearly 80 screens across Tamil Nadu.

Mutthirai stars Daniel Balaji, Nithin Sathya, Lakshmi Rai and Manjari Phadnis.

“It is an edge-of-the-seat action thriller with twists and turns in every scene,” says director Srinath. “The story is about two petty thieves – played by Daniel Balaji and Nithin Sathya – who are initially at loggerheads, but later become buddies as they are framed for a crime they have not committed.”

During the shoot of Naan Avan Illai-2 (NAI-2)in Switzerland, Lakshmi Rai faced a big snowstorm while dancing for a song sequence with Jeevan.

We hear that though the lass was wearing nearly a dozen plastic rain coats, she still suffered frostbites.

The unit had to stop shoot for a day and wait for her to recover. NAI-2 is being directed by Selva (who also did the original) and stars Jeevan and five girls (Lakshmi Rai, Sangeetha, Shwetha, Hema Malini and Rakshana).

This sequel promises to be more interesting and has peppy music by Vijay Antony. Lakshmi Rai is said to be playing the role of a sensuous actress who gets conned by Jeevan.
